PUT STUDENTS AND YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Today, Thursday, Sept. 17, at the hall of the Federal Council of the FIGC Via Allegri 14 (Rome), we held the press conference to present the 2009/2010 season of the National Cadet Championships Teenagers and organized by the Department of Youth and School FIGC. In the room the federal president Giancarlo Abete, president of the Youth and Scholastic Massimo Giacomini Vice Chairman FIGC Carlo Tavecchio, AIA President Marcello Nicchi, the Director General of the FIGC Antonello Valentini, the national secretary SGS Barbara Benedetti and the two components of the CAN D Ayroldi Nicola and Luigi Stella.
The first to speak is the president Abete satisfied with the positive trend of subscriptions to two championships in recent years: "For the 2009/2010 season of the two samples involved 112 companies, 110 in category and 103 pupils in the young. Important numbers that show how companies give importance to their nurseries, which are considered no longer a cost but an investment. The exploitation of young people, should, in fact, from the bottom up to the professional level that is the tip of the iceberg. Much, even in Europe, is being done to protect the young players, as can be seen from the UEFA project on "financial fair play" which, among other purposes, to enhance the nurseries to make ends meet. "
The word is then passed to Massimo Giacomini who has illustrated the novelty of the next year: "The federal council meeting on June 17 ruled that teams can play regular time Giovanissmi category no more than 30 minutes, but by 35. Ten minutes of the game more, then substantiated physical evolution of our young people who, 14/15 years, are now able to stand up to this playing time. I am also very proud to have noticed, for some season, an increase of respect for rules and fair play which was accompanied by an improvement in the technical side. "
Marcello Nicchi, has instead focused on collaboration between the AIA and the Youth and School Industry: "The AIA is keen to have a feel particularly privileged with the youth sector. We seek to grow healthy both physically and referees to head the Youth sector, does, however, the same with the players. Once grown, both will respect each other's work. "
